Step by Step Ordering
This looks long and involved,
but we have covered, we hope, every single step in the ordering
process. It's really not complicated, and each step is fairly
logical, but if you are not familiar with shopping carts, you can
print out these instructions and it may help if you get to something
that is unclear.
You can view our catalog pages
by clicking on a letter in the grid at the top of the left hand
column of each page. Our hostas are arranged alphabetically,
and the little box appears on just about every page on our site.
If you have any questions about our plants, nursery, or anything
else, the links at the top of the page will probably lead you to the
answers.
To order a plant simply click
on the
Add to Order
below
the description.
You will be taken to your shopping cart each time you order a
plant. If you would like more than one of that variety, you can
change the quantity and click "Update". If you change your
mind, you can click on the "Delete Item" button. There are
links in the left column to take you back to the catalog where,
hopefully, you can buy more plants. When you are finished,
click "Checkout".
If everything is going well on the internet, you should receive
a confirmation in just seconds. Sometimes, things can get
clogged up on the internet and it may take longer for a reply.
If you do not receive an acknowledgement to your order, it is
often because of the email address is incorrect or because the
message is being blocked at your computer or service provider.
If you do not receive your acknowledgement, please send us a
message so we can check on the problem. Our email address is

You cannot revise your order
through the shopping cart once it has been placed. If you need to
change your order or if you have a question about it, send us an
email. Be sure to include the order number.
Your Account
You do not have to set up an account to place an
order. If you set up an account, our site will recognize you by
your email address. The shopping cart will maintain your
billing and shipping information, but not your credit card
number, so that you do not have to enter it each time you
order. It also allows you to earn bonus points and view you
order history. Your account is password protected. You can

to set up an account now, do it when you check out, or, if you
prefer, skip it all together.
Bonus Points
Each time you order plants from us, we add bonus points you your
account. One point is added for each full $10.00 in plants
that you order. The bonus points are added to your account when your
order is shipped. Each point is worth $1.00. and they can be
used to pay for your next order. You can let them accumulate
for use later, but since they don't earn interest, I don't see any
point.
Discount Coupons
We may send discount coupons in our newsletters during the slow
seasons to try to persuade you to order even if it's too hot to
think about gardening. If you have a coupon, enter the code at
the bottom of the page. Please note that the coupons usually
have an expiration date.
